Developer Awareness Course
We hold regular course for owners developers, architects, land agents, builders and their advisors.
The course lasts for a morning and part of the afternoon and covers protected species legislation the processes involved with planning and Natural England Licence application including the mitigation system. The course focuses on the practicalities of how to get from the start of your project to its end where protected species are involved.
This course can be provided for individuals, groups or as one of our regular open course presentations.
Tree Surgeons Tree Awareness Course
Our tree surgeons course can be provided for individuals or company groups. The course lasts a morning and part of the afternoon and can be extended given suitable trees to a full practical session.
The course gives a full overview of the legislation relating to protected species in a tree management setting. There are practical exercises of identification and use of equipment needed to explore tree cavities. The course can be directed towards managers as well as tree climbers working in the field.
